But, at the same time, we vindicate the imposed category, the one of being a woman, because we know about the invisibility, the violence and the control exercised under that woman-label. The artistic team of ASS KOMBAT is constituted by the Valencia creators, Eva Zapico –acting-, Guadalupe Sáez –screenwriting-, and Patricia Pardo in both, as well as the stage direction. From the thematic related with Amnesty International's (AI) campaign "My body, my rights," Pardo and Sáez write ASS KOMBAT. The work is a circus-theatrical play that questions the invasion of the bodies, the identity, the imposition of the categories. But moving away, of course, from the discourse that characterizes AI to enter into a scenic show and metaphorical language. From the gesture clown but also from the textual delirium. From the transgressor comedy but also from the fragility of personal exposure.
