Synopsis
Out of the Deep Blue is an outdoor physical theatre performance featuring a 4-meter-tall giant puppet, manipulated by five puppeteers and a dancer. This show is specially designed for families and festival audiences.
It tells the magical story of Eko, a sea giant who emerges from the ocean depths and encounters a brave girl named Violet on the shore. The choreography is a grand pas de deux, using contemporary theatrical dance and masterful puppetry as narrative tools, accompanied by a captivating soundtrack.
The performance is divided into two parts: a 25-minute walk with the giant puppet interacting with the environment, the architecture, and the audience, followed by a 25-minute theatrical dance duet in a fixed space.
