Escandall Teatral

Escandall was born with the clear intention of making street theatre different from the one that usually takes up most of the programmes of the main festivals in Spain.

Escandall is committed to recovering the concept of vindictive theatre, both in the message and in the format. To do so, it opts for performatic actions, in which the artist plays the character that is developing the activity. Thus, the actions represent life and, therefore, "do not help the audience to escape, but to become aware". The creators want the work not to be a "passing diversion", but to have an impact on the spectators' daily life.
