Choreography and dancing, and at the back: an old bicycle attached to an old-fashioned knife sharpener. The work of Gero Domínguez, from Malaga, is an homage to traditional jobs that are disappearing in an increasingly globalised world. In the same way, the memories of who we were are disappearing too. A profession, full of sibilant sounds, that transports us back to our childhoods, and to the nomad who endeavours to prolong the lifespan of our tools and our roots. A play that will sharpen boots, grind the soul and even hone the heart.
