Teatre del Poble Valencià

"Teatre del Poble Valencià" is the brand for public productions promoted by the Generalitat Valenciana (regional government). It is an initiative that has yielded works such as "Els quatre genets de l'apocalipsi" (The four horsemen of the apocalypse), "Happy End", "Caries", "La armonía del silencio" (The harmony of silence), "Tic-Tac" and "Cuzco". "Els nostres" is the most recent one. A play that brings some of the best Valencian theatre professionals together. Essential names such as Eva Zapico, Xavier Puchades, Patricia Pardo, Begoña Tena or Juli Disla, all of whom share common ways of understanding theatre, or creation in general; and the social commitment it could have or should have.
