Le G. Bistaki

The G. Bistaki is a collective of jugglers / dancers, brought together in order to upset their artistic and scenic daily life by innovating in the way of research and representation. For his latest creation Bel Horizon, he surrounds himself with four dancers, comedians and circus artists.

The essence of its mode of representation is its relationship to space: from a conventional theater stage to the extra-mural, rural or industrial environment, in unusual places and even in ambulatory form, the Toulouse collective develops performances in situ and flourishes in close connection with the spatial and social characteristics of a place.

Taking the time necessary to invest and transform a place, Le G. Bistaki makes the dreamlike dimension of the stage overflow and opens the space of play, dressing the landscape of plastic installations where the objects multiply, decline, where the video and the living pictures are incrusted. The environment, whether urban or rural, open or closed, is the theater of his action.
