Five athletic-looking jugglers enter the space and warm up. It's a hymn to the absurd; the show can begin. The audience is then given a brief explanation of the safety rules and the rules of the game. The music begins, and with it a choreographic and juggling dialogue, revealing the different personalities of the performers and their relationships, which evolve throughout the show.
Copyleft explores the relationship of the individual to a group and the vitality of the cosmos, combined with the virtuosity of juggling, constantly evolving with the music. The poetry resides in the details, in the perfection of a juggling gesture synchronized with the chords of the music. The reflections on the hoop evoke the world of sport. With a minimalist aesthetic, the show is presented as a part with precise rules, but in which the interpretation is free and improvised. Copyleft is the result of three years of research, combining group juggling, dance and improvisation.
The cast included a real "dream team" of different nationalities, among them Juan Duarte Mateos (UY), Lucas Castelo Branco (BR), Nahuel Desanto (AR), Gonzalo Fernández Rodríguez (ÉS) and Walid El Yafi (FR). Award for best street show - Festival FETEN Gijón 2022
