Likes

This dance show is based on an analysis of two popular phenomena on Youtube: dance covers (the re-enactment of the choreography of an original music video) and tutorials about different yoga techniques. This is a performance with a social and anthropological base in which the artist uses her movements to reflect on the social value of a "like". She does so by addressing the theme of prestige and how to gain it (and at what price) in our digital society of today. "Likes" is a fresh take on the exposure and position of our bodies in the digital era.
